Food Service SupervisorWe are looking to add an experienced, motivated lead foodservice supervisor to our Dining & Events team in Mystic, Connecticut. As a lead foodservice worker, you will have the opportunity to lead daily operation onsite by ensuring quality food preparation and service.
Providing hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals, following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations. Ensuring all meals meet standards for quality. Directing food service staff and operations to ensure a successful meal service. Ordering food and paper products as needed. Ensuring sanitation and safety procedures are followed at all times. Training new staff members as needed.
Must-haves: Experience supervising multiple employees. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge. Nice-to-haves: An advanced degree in culinary arts or a related field. Food Handler's certification. Compensation Range $25-28/hour depending upon experience.
