Job Description:
M-7 Technologies is seeking a Precision Equipment Assembler. The Precision Assembler will play a key role in supporting the growth of M-7 Technologies and will work closely with the Operations Manager and other Project Managers. This Position will focus on assembly / disassembly of a variety of equipment including Gearboxes, Rolls, and various mechanically rotating equipment, the majority of which will be heavy industry related.

Primary Job Duties:
83; Perform strip and advise activity which includes photograph incoming project, clean, disassemble, inspect, photograph, and summarize findings in report format.
83; Repair and assemble projects once repair purchase orders have been awarded. Install new gearing where applicable, new bearings and seals, and replace worn components
83; Inspect and test completed projects, record mesh (bluing), backlash, final dimensions, run test recording time and temperature
83; Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings and parts lists.
83; Consult with project managers on jobs being reviewed for quoting, offer input on processes, equipment and material requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:
83; Preferred minimum of 5 year's related experience
83; Knowledge of heavy industrial applications and manufacturing (machining, assembly, testing) is a requirement.
83; Problem solving ability, identify failure mode and offer recommendations for improvement, aid in increasing Product Life Cycle
83; Computer aptitude required to summarize findings, list hardware, bearing, seal part numbers and information, failure modes, repair work scopes
83; Able to accurately utilize shop measuring equipment such as OD micrometers, ID micrometers, depth gauge, calipers, etc.
83; High motivation to succeed as well as attention to detail.
83; Ability to thrive in a team environment and get along well with others
83; Machining knowledge and ability a plus, specifically manual lathes and mills. Examples include turning a shaft undersize for weld, milling bores on a housing, etc.
