About Lakeshore Tire & Auto Service DBA Cruise Transmission and Auto Repair
Lakeshore Tire & Auto Service DBA Cruise Transmission and Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join its growing team in Charlevoix, MI.
This is an opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety and wants to continue developing their skills. You'll work on a range of makes and models while performing general automotive repair, diagnostics, and advanced mechanical work, with opportunities to take on transmission repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform automotive repair and maintenance on a variety of makes and models
Diagnose vehicle concerns and complete needed repairs
Perform transmission and advanced mechanical repairs
Maintain quality workmanship while working efficiently
Collaborate with a small, team-oriented shop
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of automotive technician experience in an independent repair shop
Automotive diagnostic experience
Transmission repair experience preferred
ASE Certifications are a plus
Willingness to obtain ASE Certifications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to a variety of responsibilities in a smaller shop environment
Compensation & Benefits
$22-$35/hour, based on experience
