Marc Whitehead & Associates is one of Houston's most established disability and federal benefits law firms, serving clients across Texas for more than 25 years. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorney to lead and grow our Elder Law practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who wants more than a traditional caseload. You will have the autonomy to help shape a growing practice area while benefiting from an established brand, dedicated marketing support, operational infrastructure, and an existing client base.
Position Overview
As the lead attorney for our Elder Law & Estate Planning division, you will guide clients and families through important legal decisions involving aging, long-term care, estate planning, and asset protection.
You will work closely with clients, referral partners, and firm leadership while helping build a practice that delivers exceptional service and meaningful results.
Responsibilities
Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related planning documents.
Build and maintain referral relationships with financial advisors, care providers, physicians, senior living communities, and other professionals.
Qualifications
Experience in elder law, estate planning, Medicaid planning, long-term care planning, trust planning, or a closely related practice area.
