Seeking an attorney with 5+ years of Maryland State or local government experience, to work as "of counsel". We are seeking a candidate with experience in land use law, advising elected and appointed officials, public sector employment and procurement, open government laws, ethics, administrative litigation, and legislative drafting. Strong writing skills are critical. Work primarily remotely, but some in-person meetings, including weekday evenings, are required. We will provide technology (laptop, keyboard, mouse, monitor, docking station, and VOIP telephone) and IT support. The position is presently part-time but yields a full-time salary (see stated hourly rate) and can become full-time in the future. Seeking a candidate with partnership potential.
