About the Position
We are seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Wahoo, NE. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, some Saturdays
- Start Time: 5 AM
- Work Hours: 10-12 hour days
- Pay: $29.24 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours
Job Details
- Route Type: Local, home daily
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
- Tanker endorsement required at start
- Handling: Touch Freight
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a truck to collect fabrication material from various locations
- Handle outside elements, including summer heat and winter cold
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers
- Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching
- Occasionally push and pull up to 75 lbs
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must possess a valid Class A license
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have Tanker Endorsement
- Must be able to handle outside elements
- Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers
