TransForce is seeking a regional CDL A Tanker driver to support local operations based in Oregon, OH.
About the Position
This position involves operating a tanker truck to haul catalyst chemicals to various facilities, including some government locations. The role requires a TWIC card and X endorsement, with a focus on safety and compliance.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday with a 4 AM start time; some home time throughout the week and home on weekends.
- Pay: $0.70 per mile, $31 on duty not driving, $30 per diem on nights out.
Job Details
- Route Type: Regional, with a 250-500 mile radius.
- Freight Type: Chemicals.
- Equipment: Tractor with Tanker, all 2023 and newer automatics equipped with refrigerators.
- Handling: Driver will unload tanker using an air compressed hose or pump.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment.
- Unload tanker with pump/hose.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, reports, and documentation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- TWIC Card and X Endorsement required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
