Additional Information CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $28 Per Hour + $2,000 Sign-on Bonus TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Hudson, NH.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Details - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:30am - 6am Start time
- Pay: $28 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours, + $2,000 Sign-on Bonus, $1,300 - $1,400 Estimated weekly pay
- Route Type: Local delivering to Albany and New England, 3-8 stops per day
- Freight / Load Type: Delivering palletized paper products
- Equipment: Freightliner Cascadia Automatic Day Cab 53' Dry Van Trailer
- Handling: Touch freight, unloading palletized freight and breakdown pallets at customer locations
CDL A Minimum Requirements: - Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Responsibilities: - Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport palletized paper products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including unloading and breaking down pallets at customer sites
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable
