Additional Information Local CDL A Truck Driver - $28 Per Hour TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Jackson, MI.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Details - Schedule: Monday, Wednesday - Friday & Sunday, 7pm Start, 10-11 hour shift
- Route Type: Local, farthest they travel to is Petoskey, they also go to Fort Wayne, Kalamazoo and Toledo.
- Freight / Load Type: Bread and Bread products
- Equipment: Automatic transmission
- Handling: Touch freight, Dolly and hand unload
CDL A Minimum Requirements: - Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Responsibilities: - Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport bread and bread products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including dolly and hand unload
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable
