Additional Information CDL A Driver - No Touch Freight - $24 Per Hour TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Eastford, CT.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Details: - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am - 7pm
- Pay: $24 Per hour, $860 - $960 Estimated weekly pay
- Equipment: Automatic, 53' Dry Van or Flatbed
- Handling: No touch freight
CDL A Minimum Requirements: - Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: None
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Responsibilities: - Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including the ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable
