Additional Information CDL A Driver - Am Route - $33.44 Per Hour TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Sarasota, FL.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Details: - Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 4am start, 8-10 hour shifts, 40-50 hours per week
- Pay: $27.89 Per hour + $5.55 Health & Wellness up to 40 hours
- Freight / Load Type: Mail
- Handling: Light touch freight, may need to help in the warehouse after delivery
CDL A Minimum Requirements: - Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Responsibilities: - Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport mail in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including light touch freight and warehouse help when needed
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable
