Additional Information CDL A Flatbed Driver - $27 Per Hour TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Elmer, NJ.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Details: - Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturdays during Spring & Summer may be required, 5am - 6am Start time
- Pay: $27 Per hour, $1,250 - $1,350 Estimated weekly pay
- Freight / Load Type: Mulch products
- Equipment: Flatbed w/ manual transmission tractors
- Handling: Touch freight, driver assist with unloading at customer sites
CDL A Minimum Requirements: - License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: None
- Equipment Experience: Previous Flatbed experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Responsibilities: - Safely operate CDL A Flatbed equipment on local routes
- Transport mulch products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including assisting with unloading freight at customer sites
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable
