Additional Information CDL A Truck Driver $31 to $34 Per Hour DOE Columbus, OH TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations based in Columbus, Ohio.
The driver should have their Tanker endorsement and the ability to drive a manual transmission. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Truck Driver Details - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 8AM start time; 8-10 hours per day
- Pay: $31 to $34 per hour, depending on experience
- Freight / Load Type: Used grease
- Equipment: Manual transmission - tanker
- Handling: emptying grease traps
CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements: - Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Equipment Experience: Tanker and MANUAL TRANSMISSION
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities: - Safely operate tankers on local routes
- Transport used grease in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including emptying grease traps
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to lift 75 pounds if needed
