About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Greer, SC. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. Drivers must have their TWIC card and be able to operate a manual transmission.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $24 per hour + OT after 40 hours
- Schedule: Sunday - Friday, 5:30 PM - 5:00 AM
Job Details
- Route Type: Local shuttle runs
- Equipment: Manual transmission
- Handling: No touch freight
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: TWIC Card, Hazmat preferred (can obtain once hired)
- Equipment Experience: Container experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
