Enterprise HVAC- Project Manager - Job Scope

Location: Fort Knox, KY (U.S. Army Installation)
Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager leads execution, quality control, and compliance of all assigned projects within a secured military installation. This role ensures all work meets federal contract requirements, DoD standards, UFC criteria, and TeamGov SOPs, with a strong focus on enterprise HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee full lifecycle from planning through closeout in compliance with federal and base requirements
- Enterprise HVAC Oversight: Manage large-scale systems (chillers, boilers, AHUs, BAS/BMS) ensuring OEM, ASHRAE, and UFC compliance
- EPA Compliance: Enforce EPA regulations and ensure all HVAC personnel hold EPA Section 608 Certification
- Quality Control: Conduct field inspections (initial, progress, final), track deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions
- Subcontractor Management: Oversee performance, safety, and quality across all trades
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage timelines, system shutdowns, and base access with minimal mission disruption
- Reporting: Provide weekly updates, maintain documentation, and ensure audit readiness
Required Qualifications
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
- 5+ years experience with commercial/enterprise HVAC systems
- Experience in federal or military installation projects preferred
- Knowledge of UFC, OSHA, and ASHRAE standards
- Ability to obtain base access/clearance
