Job Description: Our client is looking for a Facilities Engineering Manager.
What You'll Do
Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians across mechanical, electrical, and facility operations
Oversee all major building systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, controls, and automation
Build and maintain strong electrical engineering and safety programs that meet regulatory standards
Ensure compliance with codes, safety policies, and industry best practices
Manage and optimize building automation systems to improve efficiency and system reliability
Direct preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and extend asset life
Lead capital planning, facility assessments, and long term infrastructure investment strategies
Manage capital budgets and ensure projects are delivered on scope, schedule, and budget
Oversee engineering and construction projects from planning through commissioning
Drive continuous improvement in energy use, sustainability, and facility performance
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field preferred
10+ years of experience in facilities engineering or large scale building operations
Strong background in mechanical systems, HVAC, and electrical infrastructure
Knowledge of building automation systems, controls, and system optimization
Experience with capital planning, lifecycle analysis, and facility assessments
Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects
Strong understanding of building codes, electrical safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Financial acumen with experience managing capital and operating budgets
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
