We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with immediate availability to join our team. This role requires frequent direct customer interaction and involves working on both residential and commercial HVAC systems. The technician will perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, repair work, and installation support, while ensuring safety compliance and accurate documentation. Daily travel between job sites is expected, and proficiency with modern CRM-based software accessed through tablets is essential. The technician will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and diagnose issues efficiently
- Support installation activities as needed
- Engage in direct, frequent customer interaction to address concerns and provide updates
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Conduct equipment testing to verify system performance
- Document service and repair activities accurately using CRM software on tablets
- Travel daily to various job sites to deliver services
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC service
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certificate in HVAC or related field
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical functions
- Customer service and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management and communication abilities
- Thorough understanding of safety procedures
