Responsibilities: - Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various materials, including steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.
- Assist in the training of junior welders and fabricators as needed.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid welding certification is a plus.
