About the Role: Luc Mechanical Inc is looking for skilled Mechanics and Jr. Mechanics to join our growing plumbing and HVAC team in Hauppauge, NY. Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial plumbing and HVAC systems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and perform effective repairs
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and company quality guidelines
- Assist senior mechanics with complex installations and service calls (Jr. Mechanic)
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly handle tools and equipment
Requirements: - Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or a related mechanical trade (entry-level considered for Jr. Mechanic role)
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, and plumbing fixtures and components
- EPA 608 Certification preferred for HVAC roles
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with good communication skills
