Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to residential and/or commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
- Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards
- Test HVAC systems for proper operation and performance
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs, recommendations, and costs
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- EPA Section 608 Certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or varying weather conditions
