We are seeking a reliable and experienced AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, be familiar with local building codes, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
5 Years experience as an AC technician
Experience with all HVAC systems and brands & expert working with roof top units, ductless units, central air units, space savers, splits and package units, ductless units & installing thermostats.
Install, repair, trouble shoot, and maintain air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings
EPA certified
Diagnose and repair faults in AC units, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Recharge refrigerant and ensure proper handling and disposal per EPA regulations.
- Replace or repair parts such as compressors, motors, thermostats, fans, and ductwork.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Document all work performed and communicate findings with supervisors or clients.
- Respond to emergency calls, especially during peak summer months
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
OSHA/EPA
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficient in property maintenance and equipment repair
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with air conditioning units
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Full time:
Salary: $26.00 - $42.00 per hour
