Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: Day shift - 5am to 6am start, home daily
- Pay: $1200 - $1500 average per week
Job Details
- Route Type: Local - home daily
- Freight / Load Type: Fabricated Steel
- Handling: Heavy Touch - strapping & chaining & unloading by hand or using a turn bar
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- License: CDL A
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
