McCaw Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Lead Installer / Technician to join our growing commercial division. This role is ideal for a well-rounded professional who can lead installs, read and interpret mechanical drawings, troubleshoot systems, and perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial equipment.
We are a family-owned company focused on quality work, strong client relationships, and long-term projects-not high-volume residential service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute commercial HVAC installations from start to finish
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications
Coordinate on-site work with project managers and superintendents
Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC systems and controls
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on commercial equipment
Ensure all work complies with code, safety standards, and project requirements
Maintain clean, organized job sites and accurate documentation
Operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
Proven ability to act as a lead installer / field lead
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and components
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with preventative maintenance programs
Clean driving record (required)
Valid driver's license
Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred (Not Required)
EPA Certification
Experience with packaged units, split systems, VRF/VRV, and/or controls
Familiarity with commercial construction environments
