A & S Mechanical Heating & Cooling Inc. is an HVAC company committed to providing exceptional heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing services to residential and commercial customers. We are seeking a skilled, dependable HVAC Technician to join our team.
The HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing residential and/or commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, mechanically inclined, and capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and professionalism.
Candidate is asked to perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Install HVAC systems, ductwork, thermostats, and related components.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
Explain repair recommendations and system operation to customers.
Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations.
Participate in on-call and emergency service rotations as required.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 1 year HVAC service experience.
608EPA Section 608 Certification.
Ability to troubleshoot residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions.
NATE Certification is a plus.
A & S will train or offer professional training.
Experience with heat pumps, gas furnaces, boilers, mini-splits, and commercial rooftop units.
