Chalker Heating & Fuel is currently hiring a full time HVAC Technician to service residential and light-commercial heating and air conditioning systems. Our service area covers the Upper-Cape, Mid-Cape, Plymouth and Wareham areas. We offer extremely competitive pay, based on experience and skill.
Experience with central a/c and mini-split systems is a must. Experience with oil burners and hydronic systems is preferred.
Potential Team Members Would:
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Pay close attention to detail and have the ability to effectively prioritize.
- Have fantastic customer service skills and be able to communicate in a professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot failure and malfunction.
- Heating system installation and replacement.
- Work with management, fellow service technicians, office support staff, and sales.
- Directly communicate with customers.
- 40 hours a week, and on call schedule.
- Ability to work independently and determine what task should be prioritized.
Requirements:
- EPA Universal certification.
- Massachusetts Oil Burner Competency certificate.
- OSHA 10, or the ability to complete in a reasonable timeframe.
- Insurable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and a tox screen.
- Possess strong customer service skills.
