The Production MIG Welder plays a critical role in the manufacturing industry, working as an individual contributor to deliver high-quality welded products. This position involves interpreting blueprints, preparing metals, performing MIG welding with local materials, and conducting thorough quality inspections to meet company and industry standards. The role requires adherence to strict safety compliance and may include occasional to regular overtime hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on various local materials according to specifications
  • Prepare metals for welding by cleaning, cutting, and assembling components
  • Inspect welded products to ensure quality and adherence to blueprints
  • Comply with all safety standards and regulations during all operations
  • Interpret and follow blueprints and welding instructions accurately
  • Work within typical manufacturing schedules including occasional and regular overtime

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience
