Cherry Picker Operator
Pay:
- 1st Shift: $18.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $19.00/hour
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
A growing distribution company is seeking experienced Cherry Picker Operators to join its warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating a cherry picker forklift to retrieve, move, and stage inventory while maintaining accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must have previous cherry picker experience and be comfortable working at elevated heights.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a cherry picker forklift safely and efficiently
- Pick, pull, and replenish inventory from elevated rack locations
- Accurately fulfill customer and production orders
- Scan products using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
- Maintain inventory accuracy and proper product placement
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent cherry picker forklift experience
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
- Experience using RF scanners is a plus
- Ability to work safely at elevated heights
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
