Gillmann Services is hiring experienced Installers to install metal staircases, railings, and misc. metals on commercial job sites.
This is a hands-on field position, you'll be working with a crew to set, level, anchor, and install fabricated materials. This is NOT a general labor role.
If you've worked with stairs, railings, structural steel, or similar installs, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities:
- Install metal stairs, handrails, guardrails, and misc. metals
- Read and follow blueprints and layout drawings
- Set, level, and secure materials to concrete or steel structures
- Drill and install anchors (Hilti, wedge anchors, etc.)
- Perform field modifications (cutting, grinding, fitting)
- Assist with light welding in the field (MIG/Stick a plus)
- Work safely on ladders, lifts, and active job sites
Requirements:
- 1-3+ years of construction or installation experience
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic prints
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation and ability to get to job sites
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a crew
