Automotive Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc.
Manage and direct statistical process control activities
Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis
Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently
Establish tolerance limits and facilitate appropriate corrective actions
Establish and monitor quality target levels for each build
Provide input for design and assembly concepts which will yield nominal variations
Establish critical characteristics for gauging and measuring data collection methods
Determine inspection equipment and facility requirements
Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the Quality Department, Production and Suppliers
Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility
Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions.

Six Sigma Methodology
Experience Required:
Minimum of five years of manufacturing or quality experience
Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to lead cross-functional groups to resolve concerns
Strong written and oral communication skills: you will be speaking or presenting to leadership or representing client while engaging with 3rd party suppliers
High level of analytical and statistical skills to trend quality data and take appropriate actions
Ability to positively influence change
Ability to handle complex issues and multi-tasking
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in using Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understanding of the concepts and principles surrounding Business Objects, SharePoint, and other client-specific software.
Experience Preferred:
Manufacturing Quality experience preferred.
Black Belt or Green Belt Certification
Previous quality experience preferred.
Knowledge of Assembly, Machining and Gear processes
Experienced in working with GSAR, Global 8D, Statistical Tools, Data Analytics and BSAQ preferred
Education Required:
High School Diploma / GED
