We're hiring a Commercial HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to lead the financial and administrative execution of commercial HVAC construction projects. You'll work in equal partnership with our General Superintendent in a dual-leadership model-you own the financials and administration, they drive field labor and manpower, and together you deliver projects on time, on budget, and to spec.
Responsibilities:
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across HVAC construction projects
- Partner with the General Superintendent to align labor hours and manpower with project goals
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitor schedules and proactively resolve delays or conflicts
- Ensure compliance with specs, safety standards, and company policies
- Support procurement and delivery of HVAC equipment and materials
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in commercial HVAC project management (air and water side systems)
- Strong knowledge of ductwork, AHUs, VAVs, chilled/hot water piping, pumps, and coils
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and documentation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
