Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated HVAC Helper to assist experienced technicians with residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning installations, repairs, and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the HVAC industry. Little to no experience is required-we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Help remove and install HVAC units, ductwork, and related components
- Clean and prepare job sites before and after work is completed
- Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Little or no HVAC experience required-training provided
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools (preferred but not required)
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable climbing ladders, working in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team
