A growing St. Louis-area manufacturer is looking for experienced Welder/Fabricators to join our expanding team. We manufacture heavy-duty material handling equipment entirely in-house and are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in producing quality work.
If you're a skilled welder who enjoys fabrication, can read blueprints, and wants a long-term opportunity with a stable company, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions
- MIG weld structural steel components to specification (TIG experience is a plus)
- Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble metal components
- Operate fabrication equipment including band saws, drill presses, grinders, and other shop machinery
- Safely move materials using overhead cranes and hoists
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience (additional experience is welcomed)
- Strong MIG welding skills; TIG welding experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Technical welding degree or certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work well in a team environment
