Experienced Sous Chef wanted for High-Volume Catering Company

A local, privately owned catering company is currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. We specialize in high-volume catering for events and parties of all sizes, held at various venues throughout the metropolitan area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Food preparation and cooking for events and parties
  • Working on-site at various events and venues
  • Performing other general kitchen duties as needed
  • Menu development
  • Inventory and price management

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in high-volume cooking or catering is a must
  • Strong knife skills
  • Culinary degrees are preferred, but not required
  • Food safety certification
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food, cooking techniques, and various cuisines
  • Ability to follow recipes and adhere to them
  • A current, valid driver's license and the ability to drive as needed
  • A fully operational phone for communication
