What You'll Do
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents for commercial electrical projects
- Perform detailed takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment
- Develop accurate project estimates and competitive proposals
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities
- Coordinate with project management for smooth project turnover
- Track bid results and refine estimating strategies
What We're Looking For
- 3 or more years of electrical estimating experience
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of the NEC, NFPA 72, and other building codes.
- Experience with Trimble Accubid Anywhere Estimating & LiveCount, BlueBeam and Microsoft 365
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred
- Journeyman electrician background
- Commercial construction estimating experience
