Job Description: A highly regarded litigation practice is seeking talented associates with a minimum of three years of litigation experience to join its high-profile Trial, White Collar and Investigations team.
This practice covers all facets of complex disputes, from pretrial resolution through trial, including business and commercial litigation, white collar defense and investigations, consumer protection and advertising, employment, entertainment, financial services litigation, health care litigation, intellectual property, patent litigation, and privacy and data security. Litigators here work collaboratively across offices and industry sectors, giving associates exposure to a broad range of matters and teams.
What You'll Do
Conduct legal research and handle all phases of discovery, including class actions
Take and defend depositions and conduct witness interviews
Draft pleadings and write briefs
Prepare and argue motions
Prepare for and participate in trial
What We're Looking For
3-6 years of solid litigation experience, ideally including some trial experience and hands-on work drafting and arguing motions or conducting depositions
Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills
Strong legal research and analytical abilities
A self-starter who can juggle multiple, diverse projects in a fast-paced environment
A collaborative team player comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and practice areas
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, think proactively, and develop creative solutions for clients and teams
Active bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction where you plan to practice
Prior experience as a judicial law clerk is a plus.
Interested candidates should have hands-on litigation experience across the full case lifecycle and a genuine passion for complex, high-stakes disputes.
