Echo Sonographer
We are seeking an experienced Echo Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images of patients' hearts and valvular structures, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and obtain high-quality images
- Assist physicians during procedures and provide preliminary findings
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification in Adult Echocardiography
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Sonographer
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
