Locums - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
Join an established cardiology program in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, providing a combination of outpatient clinic, hospital procedures, and call coverage. This full-time locums opportunity offers ongoing coverage within a collaborative cardiovascular team while caring for an adult patient population. Providers with an active Pennsylvania license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) are encouraged to apply.

Coverage Requirements:
Full-time coverage
Preference is for one provider to cover the entire assignment schedule. Limited requests for 1-2 weeks of time off may be considered.

7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Night Call
5:00 PM - 7:00 AM

24-Hour Weekend Call
7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
- August 1-2

Call Schedule:
- 1-2 nights of call per week
- Weekend call approximately 1:4-1:5
- Average nighttime callback: 0
- Average weekend callback: 0 (rounding responsibilities required)

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
Outpatient Clinic and Hospital
Patient Population:
Adult
Patient Volume:
Approximately 17-18 patients per day
Department Overview:
- One full-time cardiologist in clinic
- Three days per week in the cardiac lab
- APP support available when working alongside Interventional Cardiology
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Outpatient cardiology clinic
- Hospital consults and rounding
- Nuclear cardiology interpretation
- Stress testing
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardioversions
- Echocardiography interpretation
- Cardiac monitor interpretation
- Call coverage
- Documentation using Epic
Preferred Skills:
- CT cardiac interpretation preferred but not required
Support & Technology
Support Staff:
Advanced Practice Provider support available
Collaborative cardiology team

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology - Required
- Nuclear Cardiology Board Certification - Required
- Echocardiography Board Certification - Required
- CT Cardiac Board Certification - Preferred
- Active Pennsylvania Medical License - Required
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) accepted
- DEA Registration - Required
- Minimum one year of experience - Required
Credentialing
Approximately 90 days
Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean credentialing file.
