About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL B driver in LaVergne, TN, to support local operations. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $23 Per hour + OT
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday (Tuesdays & Saturdays OFF)
- Hours: Flexible start time, 10 AM - 2 PM, 8-10 hour shifts
Job Details
- Route Type: Local, a specific route is given upon dispatch to the driver
- Freight / Load Type: Box truck delivering bread
- Handling: Touch freight, racks of bread are on rollers, deliver to the customer, the driver will take the empty racks back
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL B equipment on local routes
- Transport bread in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including touch freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL B
- Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: None
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
