Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Critical Care Ohio Locum Tenens September Start
WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Hospital Medicine coverage beginning in September. This opportunity supports a well-established inpatient hospital medicine team in Ohio and offers a flexible schedule of approximately 5 10 shifts per month.

This is a 217-bed acute care hospital with a collaborative hospitalist program supported by multiple medical specialties, including Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Nephrology, and Infectious Disease.
The coverage model includes four daytime Hospitalists (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), two NP/PAs (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), and one dedicated Nocturnist (7:00 PM 7:00 AM). The ICU is closed, and no procedures are required. The facility utilizes Meditech as its EMR.
Candidate Requirements
Nurse Practitioners
- Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) for intensivist/critical care schedules
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active, unrestricted Ohio NP license
- Active DEA
- Current AANP or ANCC certification
- ACLS certification required
