We are seeking a Gastroenterologist with advanced ERCP and EUS experience to provide inpatient coverage across three hospitals in Pennsylvania. This ongoing locum opportunity offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling with 24-hour call shifts, Epic EMR, and travel expenses covered. Candidates must be comfortable managing advanced GI procedures and inpatient consults.
Position Details
- Start ASAP, ongoing assignment
- 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM or 5:00 PM 5:00 PM)
- Daytime in-house coverage with overnight call (30-minute response from hotel)
- Approximately 14 shifts per month available
- EMR: Epic
- Procedures include: Colonoscopy, EGD, EUS, PEGs, Esophageal Varices & Stenting, and ERCPs
- Round on admitted patients
- Provide 24/7 GI call coverage
- Accept transfers from affiliated community hospitals
- Coordinate patient discharges as appropriate
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license required (IMLC considered)
- BLS, DEA
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
