Quick Facts Location: Grass Valley, CA Start Date: 06/27/2026 Duration: Multiple dates July through December 2026 Shift: Day & on-call coverage (varied shifts, including nights and holidays) Hours/week: Flexible based on assignment needs Employment Type: Locum / Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Active CA medical license, board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN Experience: Minimum of 100 gynecological procedures in the past two years; hospital or clinical experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: To be discussed upon application Pay Package Includes: Malpractice insurance (must be included in pay if applicable) Orientation: $200 $225/hour after 8 hours On-Call Compensation: $3,500 $3,750/day including 4 hours free Holiday Call Rate: $5,250 $5,625 per 24 hours including 4 hours free Call Back: $400 $450/hour of patient contact after free hours Holiday Call Back: $600 $675/hour of patient contact after free hours Travel, lodging, and reimbursements as applicable Benefits: Medical insurance (W-2), paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, robust referral bonus program, and 24/7 support team What You'll Do Manage obstetric deliveries, including + per month Perform C-sections and other OB procedures Provide OB/GYN consults and on-call coverage for emergencies Collaborate with anesthesia, general surgery, pediatrics, and respiratory therapy teams Support hospital s Family Birthing Center and Emergency Department Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols What You Need Current CA medical license with OB/GYN certification or active participation in process Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in OB/GYN Demonstrated proficiency in gynecological surgical procedures (at least 100 in past 2 years) Ability to work independently in a hospital environment Strong communication and collaboration skills About the Assignment Join a leading medical facility in Grass Valley, CA, providing compassionate obstetric and gynecological care at a dedicated Family Birth Center.
