A large healthcare network in New Jersey is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Gastroenterology team at one of their facilities in South Jersey.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 40 hours/week (no nights/weekends/call)
- Setting: 100% Outpatient
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments and perform thorough physician examinations focused on gastrointestinal health
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including but not limited to lab work, imaging studies, and endoscopic procedures
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide patient education
- Perform outpatient procedures as required
Qualifications:
- New Jersey Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Gastroenterology background
