JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Must be boarded within 5 years of completing residency
  • Licenses: Active NY medical license
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA with NY address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (AHA) required for board-eligible physicians until boarded; board-certified EM physicians may have alternate requirements per facility policy
  • Experience: Residency training in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
  • Other Qualifications: Case logs from the past 2 years; CME/CEU from the past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department
  • Perform moderate sedation and other necessary emergency procedures
  • Complete documentation in Epic EMR in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with admitting physicians, specialists, and nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
