- Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in a multimodality cardiac catheterization lab setting in Texas, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active TX or Compact RN license.Details
- Multimodality lab environment encompassing Cath Lab, Vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro procedures across 3 labs
- Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Performs conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
- Uses Cerner EHR and Merge Hemo systems
- Day shift schedule: 06:30-15:00
- 13-week contractRequirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
- ACLS certification preferred (AHA accepted)
- Nursys license verification required prior to start
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for considerationAdditional Information
- Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures, and communicate patient condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures
- Responsible for setup, operation, and management of equipment and supplies throughout procedures
