Job Summary
Mount Sinai St. Luke's is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes throughout the patient care continuum.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record.
- Promote patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in patient throughput, care coordination, and unit operations.
- Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.
- Maintain professional standards and participate in continuing education and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Requirements - Active New York State RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience
- EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

- Average Unit Census: 2 Labs
- 5-bed unit
