ELECTRICIAN ASSISTANTS - HIRING FOR FULL-TIME POSITIONS
Shaffer's Electrical Contracting, Inc. is in Sanford, Florida, about 25 miles north of Orlando. The Company is seeking full-time experienced Electrician Assistant. The job will be to assist the Lead Electrician in performing duties running small to medium-size commercial projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years' electrical experience in commercial type of settings.
- Must be able to travel in and outside of Florida up to 4-6 weeks at a time.
- Must have a valid and insurable driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
- Applicants must have basic hand tools and cordless drill tools.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write in English?
- Perform job duties as assigned by management.
Preferred Qualifications: Willing to learn to install air compressors and compressed air lines, motor controls, installation of large commercial ceiling fans, assembling equipment, installing structured cabling (Internet & Telephone) and commercial building and maintenance.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, it requires regularly to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl, and use eye to hand coordination. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Schedule: Varies and weekly overtime opportunities.
Pay Range: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour.
