Our client in Ohio seeks an Interventional Cardiologist Physician for a 1-day assignment starting Jul 15, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts with independent rounding on approximately 8 post-operative patients daily, alongside covering general and STEMI call. Responsibilities and Duties
- Independently round on approximately 8 post-operative patients daily.
- Provide coverage for General Cardiology and STEMI call.
- Manage General Cardiology cases including chest pain/ACS, heart failure, hypertension, dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation, other arrhythmias, and valve disease.
- Perform EKG interpretation, stress testing, echocardiogram interpretation, and Holter/event monitor analysis.
- Handle Interventional Cardiology cases such as diagnostic cardiac catheterization, PCI/stent placement, acute STEMI management with on-call/cath lab activation, Impella/IABP/MCS support, and peripheral interventions.
- Work across General Inpatient (IP), Cardiac Care Unit (CCU), and Cath Lab settings.
