Job description

  • Start date: ASAP, pending privileges
  • 24-hour shifts: 7a-5p onsite, 5p-7a call
  • Minimum availability: 7 days per month
  • Shifts are almost always 24 hours; occasionally a stretch starts at 5p
  • 24/7 GI call coverage across 3 hospitals
  • Inpatient advanced GI with ERCP and EUS, plus call
  • Duties: IP rounding, consultations, procedures, follow-ups, discharges, night call
  • Common procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD, EUS, PEGs, esophageal variceal management & stenting, ERCPs
  • Sites: UPMC Harrisburg (JO-01092), UPMC West Shore (JO-01094), UPMC Community (JO-01095)
  • Must be able to perform both EUS and ERCPs (do not submit if unable)
