Patient Population:
Assigned hospital patients
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour general surgery call coverage
- Evaluate and manage emergency surgical consults
- Perform urgent and emergent surgical procedures as indicated
- Admit surgical patients as needed
- Collaborate with emergency medicine, anesthesia, nursing, and hospital staff
- Respond on-site within two hours when called

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery - Preferred
- Active Wisconsin Medical License - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
- ACLS Certification - Required
- ATLS Certification - Required
- Ability to respond within 2 hours of call - Required
- Hospital admissions experience - Required
