    Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care.
  • Job title: RN - med/surg/tele.
  • Position located in Mason City, Iowa at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, part of Trinity Health system.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have a valid nursing license verified within 30 days of start.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required for all direct patient care personnel.
  • ACLS certification required for RNs in critical care areas including CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU; applicable here due to Telemetry specialty.
  • NIHSS certification required, indicating stroke care competency.
  • Completion of specialty specific competency testing within the last year.
  • Must meet Trinity Health professional and personal health requirements including drug screening, immunizations, and background checks.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift hours: 07:00 - 19:30 (12.5 hour shift).
  • Work schedule includes every third weekend and every other holiday.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit specialty includes Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care.
    Additional Details
  • Must complete Trinity Health Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services Form, Non Employee Upload Form, Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form, Criminal Background Check, Education Verification, EPLS, GSA/OIG, Joint Commission Testing, NSO, System Access Form, Skills Checklist, Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only), IA Sing Report, and OFAC screening as part of onboarding.
